Members of the International contractors and consultants association of Iran(ICCA)
After years of pursuing the design of professional organizations to guide the human capital investments in this land, the Iranian Engineering Society embarked on realizing the idea of establishing a non-profit association. Following thorough examinations and expert studies, and in close collaboration with the four major professional organizations in the country—the Syndicate of Construction Companies, the Syndicate of Installation and Industrial Companies of Iran, the Association of Consulting Engineers in Architecture and Urban Planning, and the Society of Consulting Engineers—the ICCA was founded in ۱۳۷۷ (۱۹۹۸ AD). Through the efforts of pioneers in this field and leveraging successful management experiences, a comprehensive structure was formulated. The aim was not only to exploit the export potentials and hidden capabilities of the country but also to identify the requirements and obligations of global trade. Through the introduction of engineering skills and technical knowledge, the association sought to facilitate the export of technical and engineering services worldwide. The association, with divine assistance and with the support of four specialized departments—Market and Tender Studies, Informatics, Education and Publications, Financial and Commercial Rights, and International Relations—has had the honor of providing information and consultation to more than ۲۸۰ member companies for a decade. It strives to identify forthcoming opportunities by considering the considerable engineering surplus capacity of the country and aims to play an effective role in removing trade barriers.
The association, considering itself a pioneer in the profound transformation of the country's export policies, endeavors to utilize existing management knowledge and identify less domestically focused specialized areas with global demand. It aims to propel the surplus engineering capacities of the country into the international arena and contribute comprehensively to the dissemination of Iranian knowledge. In this regard, the association is committed to implementing programs that involve close communication with governmental institutions, establishing specialized committees, and fostering member convergence to improve their professional status.
It is evident that the cooperation and solidarity among the members of the association, alongside enhanced interaction with the rapidly changing world, empower us to be so potent and efficient that wherever there is a demand for construction and development in the world, the proficient arms of Iranian creative experts will be at work. The realization of this significant goal, which will guide us towards independence from oil revenues, will also lead to the creation of approximately twenty thousand job opportunities with each foreign project execution, thereby making the domestic job market self-sufficient.
To achieve what we have outlined and to survive in a world brimming with emerging technologies, we will inevitably need to retrain and develop human capital based on global standards and update our ideas. With the help of divine grace and the tireless efforts of your servants in the association, we will discover opportunities, engage in future-oriented thinking, and strive to empower the private sector in line with Article ۴۴ of the Constitution to develop the country's technical and engineering indices. We aim to elevate Iran's technological status regionally and internationally, increase productivity and the national development coefficient, and play an influential role.
The large family of Iranian exporters of technical and engineering services, drawing on years of knowledge and experience and considering national and regional requirements while adhering to international standards, is ready to participate in achieving the vision of development. With the hope that Iran will become a leading economic, scientific, and technological power in the region and, as a secure, independent, and powerful land, will enjoy expanding relations based on national interests, principles of wisdom, dignity, and the common good in interaction with the world.
